Coming attractions : Deneuve's week.
What better way to start a retrospective of « fmff » opening season than with a Catherine Deneuve’s week ?
Monday : « Funny girl and pretty woman » ; she looks fabulous and can be fun too, a rare feat for female actresses.
Tuesday : an exclusive « first hand » account of « My life with Catherine »,
Wednesday and Thursday : « Deneuve sings ! » Actually, in Jacques Demy’s musicals, she only lip-synchs ; many years later, in François Ozon’s « Huit femmes », she takes her three-minute revenge and dances too, though less than in « Les demoiselles de Rochefort ».
Friday : an exotic treat, Catherine Deneuve takes us on a visit to « The Indochina syndrome ».
